About Me

My name is Dillon McGlue, I’m a nature and wildlife photographer based in Santa Cruz, California. I’ve been fortunate to travel my entire life and live in places all around the world. These experiences have shaped the way I see the world and deepened my connection to nature, which ultimately led me to photography. I’m inspired by the landscapes, wildlife, and different moments that remind me how beautiful and unique our world truly is.

I use both digital and film photography to capture the world in different ways. With my digital camera I am able to capture fine details with precision, while my film camera brings a unique challenge — I never know exactly how a shot will turn out until it’s developed. This unpredictability makes film exciting and adds a rewarding challenge when it all comes together.

Whether I’m exploring new places around the world or hanging out close to home, my goal is to share the appreciation and wonder I feel when I’m immersed in nature. I hope my photos inspire others to get outside, experience the beauty of the world firsthand, and develop a deeper appreciation for protecting it for generations to come.
